Amma Seva Sadanam (A Home for Aged) is a registered charity / non-profit and secular grass roots' level voluntary organization under the Indian Trust Act, established in the year 2013 at Aswaraopeta, Bhadradri Kothagudem District (erstwhile Khammam District), Telangana State and managed / run by a dedicated group of women. Amma Seva Sadanam aims to rebuild hope where it's damaged or lost. We work with those in need / crisis, those who are under-privileged, and those who are under-served to restructure their lives. We have been striving/serving for the upliftment of the rural and tribal poor in their socio-economic, health and educational aspects, etc. for the past 10 years with the prime focus on under-privileged, under-served, destitute and orphan old aged / elderly people and the children who needs shelter, food - meals and health care services on regular basis.

 

Amma Seva Sadanam is dedicated to the service of mankind, and it is founded on the principles of universal brotherhood, love, peace and harmony.

 

The aim of the organization is to assist the poor in their socio-cultural, economic, physical, mental, emotional, cultural, spiritual, etc. needs and release / relieve them from all kinds of poverty and suffering and bondages in order to make them to live with human dignity and self-respect and to see them as the responsible and respectable citizens of the country.

 

Since from the inception 10 years ago Amma Seva Sadanam has created a wide range / series of awareness campaigns / training workshops for advantage / benefit the people / civil society and students on the problems of the aged / elderly people, mother and children and women in many villages of the erstwhile Khammam district (presently called as Bhadradri Kothagudem district). So far extended support for more than 20+ aged / elderly people, mother and children and women by providing shelter, food - meals and health facilities on a regular basis. For the past / last 10 years, Amma Seva Sadanam has also worked on / undertaken various relief and rehabilitation measures for the poor people displaced / affected by / due to disasters such as the natural calamities in the district.
